Butterfly Park Empuriabrava is a small tropical zoo with more than 20 years of dedication. It is situated on the Costa Brava in a region of natural and cultural richness, between three natural parks: the Aiguamolls de l’Empordá to the south, the Cap de Creus to the east and the Albera Natural Park to the north. In a 2.000m2 greenhouse we have recreated a tropical rainforest where butterflies, parrots and many other animals are the protagonists. The exotic plants are fundamental in maintaining the right conditions and a balanced ecology for our inhabitants.

Some of the curiosities which you may encounter are, among others, the world’s largest butterfly, Attacus atlas; the biggest pigeon Goura victoria; Red-necked wallabies and the Mexican blind cavefish.
