Opinion of the Michelin Guide: This place is much more than a restaurant, since behind it there is history (it began as a cinema in 1949) and there is "AD'Iniciatives Socials", a non-profit organization that seeks job options for young people with limited resources or limited training. Today, as a restaurant-school, there is a nod to the past, maintaining at the entrance the original bar of the old Cine Rosa, in Art Deco style, and presenting charming rooms where they offer contemporary Catalan cuisine, based on three menus ( Migdia "La Barra", Degustació and De Cine) and, where possible, with local products.

In this cozy family restaurant, at the foot of the road and with stone walls, they offer that authenticity that you seek so much, because the best thing about rural businesses is that they tend to flee from the superfluous to grow from honesty. Here the Boix brothers, Jordi and Albert, are firmly committed to traditional sea and mountain stews, meats grilled with natural wood and, above all, the preparation of some really exquisite rice, a dish that is never missing from their menus. They work with seasonal produce from the neighborhood gardens!
